Placing Orders

How do I place my order?
Tailor Made Rooms makes placing your order effortless:
1. Input your personalized information on the product page before clicking add to cart.
2. Complete the checkout process and expect a proof to be sent via email in 4 business days or less. 

  1. Review and approve the proof or request a revision. 
  2. Your order will be on its way once the proof is approved!

    Do you make custom designs? 

Yes! Tailor Made Rooms offers customization on almost all of the wall art listed in our product catalog. If customization is mentioned in the listing, simply fill out your personalized info on the product page before adding to cart.

If you are interested in commissioning a custom order not found on our website, please email support@tailormaderooms.com to start a conversation about your custom project request. Custom Commission Designs will be quoted after details are submitted.

Which products can be personalized?

Tailor Made Rooms can personalize the majority of our wall art collection. If you want to include your family name or personalize a piece of wall art with a custom date or detail, simply use the form on the product page to create your personalized order. 


Can I edit an order after it’s been placed? 

Tailor Made Rooms is happy to provide edits to any order while in the approval stage. You will receive a proof within 4 business days of placing your order and have the opportunity to communicate with our design team about any changes you’d like to make. Once you have received and approved your custom order proof, we cannot offer edits. 


Non-custom orders are moved to print production within 24 hours of receiving the order to ensure fast delivery. As long as your order has not been moved to print production, we will work with you to make changes. Email support@tailormaderooms.com or call us at 616.897.2070


Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
Tailor Made Rooms does participate in seasonal promotions and holiday sales. Make sure you sign up for our mailing list to receive exclusive discounts and offer codes made available to our customers via email. 


Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts? 

Tailor Made Rooms is proud to offer discounts to our trade accounts and exclusive partners. We are also open to wholesale inquiries. Please reach out via email and an estimate will be produced. You can send details to support@tailormaderooms.com

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

Tailor Made Rooms does not have a physical store location. You can always reach out to our design team if you have any questions or need help with something you can’t find in our online store by emailing support@tailormaderooms.com


Do you charge tax on orders originating from no sales tax states?
Tailor Made Rooms is an e-commerce storefront which means we are legally required to collect and remit sales tax in all 50 states. 


Can you provide a gift note with an order? 

Including gift notes is not a service Tailor Made Rooms is able to offer at this time. 


Shipping & Processing

How long will it take my order to process and ship?

All of our designs at Tailor Made Rooms are made-to-order. It typically takes 7 business days or less to process, print, and ship your order. Tailor Made Rooms ships each item via UPS/FedEx/USPS ground 3-5 day shipping. The average turnaround time from placing to receiving your order is 10 business days. Shipping affected by holiday and weather delays is out of our control.

IMPORTANT: Custom orders can take longer than the above estimation of processing time. Additional revision requests or failing to respond to emailed proofs will slow the order processing time. 


Where does Tailor Made Rooms ship to?


We are proud to offer FREE shipping to the Continental USA and Canada. 

Since we ship from either our USA or Canada location, you will never have to pay for import customs or duties.

Paid shipping upgrades are available for orders placed in Hawaii, Alaska, and internationally. 


Will I be notified when my order is shipped?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email when you place your order and again when your order is shipped! Please note, your order number is not your tracking number. A separate tracking number will be emailed once your order is shipped. 


What if my order was shipped to the wrong address?

Packages that are delivered to an incorrect and/or old address that is not returned, unfortunately, cannot be exchanged. Please DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ADDRESS. If you notice an error, contact us within 4 hours and we'll get your address fixed on our end before shipping. Unfortunately, after 12 hours there is nothing we can do. Please double check your address.

What kind of material should I order for my outdoor sign? 

We recommend you always choose metal for outdoor signage. Our metal signs are scratch-resistant, waterproof, plus totally durable enough to withstand the elements outside.  

 

What sizes are available? 

Sizing and specs for each piece of art Tailor Made Rooms offers can be found on their individual product page.  We suggest that you carefully measure and mark your wall with blue painters tape, then step back and see how that size fits your space. We offer many different sizes to choose from, however our sample images are usually the largest dimensions. Please choose carefully from our size offerings. We are not responsible for incorrect measurements. We hope this sizing guide helps you choose the correct piece.

What hardware do I need to hang my wall art?
All mounting hardware is already included in your order! For canvas prints we also make sure felt pads are included to protect the paint on your walls.

Returns & Refunds

Tailor Made Rooms stands behind the quality of our products and want you to enjoy your new wall art. It makes us happy to see you happy.

Can I cancel my order?

Tailor Made Rooms allows for cancellations made within 1 hour of purchase. 


Can I exchange my order?


  • Exchanges must be made within 15 days of your ship date.
  • Personalized wall art with a unique name cannot be returned unless there is damage or misprint on the art. Photo proof will be required.
  • Merchandise must be unused, odor free and in good condition with the original hang tags and packaging attached. Your return item(s) will be inspected upon arrival before your refund is processed.
  • Damaged goods claims must be processed within our website contact form below. We will contact you immediately. Proof of damaged goods must be produced, and the damaged goods must be shipped back for inspection before the refund process can begin. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Complete the form (at the bottom of this page) when returning/refunding so we are able to accurately get your order correct.
  • Shipping and handling cost, and other charges are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.
  • It can take up to 10 business days for us to receive and process your return. Once processed, your refund can take up to 2-7 business days to reflect on your account statement. You will receive a confirmation email once this is completed.

Holiday Season Returns & Exchanges


  • Did you receive a Tailor Made Rooms gift and are missing the necessary information? No worries, contact us via email at refund@tailormaderooms.com and we will help you get the exchange or return completed in accordance with the terms of the policies and issue you an e-gift card to Tailor Made Rooms.
  • Items purchased from November 1st thru December 25th can be EXCHANGED up to January 25th. NO returns for items purchased after 15 days of the original order date. NO EXCEPTIONS

What if my order incurs a VAT/ customs charge?

Depending on your country, your package may incur local customs or VAT charges that we are unable to prepay or predict. We have seen customs clearance fees happen on some shipments to Canada. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS OR CLEARANCE FEES and will not refund or replace items destroyed or returned by customers due to non-payment of fees or rejection of delivery.
