Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.0 / 5 from 3 reviews.
The sign turned out great, for the size I selected. But I would've gone twice the size if it wasn't 4 times the price. The sizes listed don't compute to a given ratio. You'll see a selection of 36" x 12", and then you'll see 48" x 11.5" (not exact sizes listed to buy). It's all confusing because the sign isn't a rectangle. It has a radius in the middle. So when you're selecting the font size is your biggest concern, but you have no idea what it's going to be. So I chose a 3 foot wide sign thinking my wife can see the sign clearly from about 100' away to her greenhouse, but the main font is only about 3.5 inches high, and forget about the smaller font that holds the details. So if you want this above your front door, choose the 36" by whatever. But if you want to actually see this as you pull into your driveway, make sure this thing is at least 2 feet tall by 6 feet long, because with the radius your font is still going to be small. If I had to do it over again, I probably would've gone with a plain metal sign cut from a CNC machine from a competitor that could actually be enjoyed from more than 15ft away.
Metal Farm Entrance Signs - White Sunflower Sign
Store owner replied: Hi Joshua, Thank you for your thoughtful feedback — we’re glad to hear the sign itself turned out great. Because many of our designs include decorative shapes and radius curves, the overall dimensions of the sign do not directly translate to maximum letter height. The sizing listed reflects the full sign footprint, not just the text area. For customers needing visibility from longer distances (such as 75–100 feet), we typically recommend significantly larger formats or simplified layouts to maximize letter height and legibility. We provide detailed size charts and are always happy to guide customers on ideal sizing based on viewing distance before production. Custom oversized formats are also available for driveway or long-range visibility applications. We appreciate your input and the opportunity to clarify for future buyers. — Tammy Owner, Tailor Made Rooms
