At Tailor Made Rooms, we love collaborating with you to bring your unique vision to life! From the first sketch to the final design, we’re here to ensure every detail of your custom sign is just perfect.
How Our Custom Sign Process Works
1. Kick Off the Creative Process
We start with a $75 design deposit. This deposit:
- Is applied toward the final cost of your custom sign
- Secures your spot in our production schedule
Once your deposit is received, we’ll pair you with an account manager/designer who will collaborate with you to create a preliminary proof of your design options.

After reviewing your preferences, we’ll provide a detailed estimate for your entire project. Once the estimate is approved, we’ll begin bringing your vision to life!
Please note: Creating your custom design requires a commitment of time and creativity on our part. We do not currently offer free design services. We appreciate your understanding and value the opportunity to bring your vision to life!

- Whether it’s a business sign, farm décor, or a unique project, we need as much detail as possible to bring your ideas to life.

- The more information you share, the better we can tailor your design.
3. Design & Proof Approval
Once we’ve reviewed your details, our designer will create and send you an initial proof.
- You’ll have the opportunity to review and provide feedback before we move forward to production.
- We’ll refine the design based on your comments to make sure it’s just right for your space.
4. Custom Sign Design & Edit Policy
We love collaborating with you to create something truly special and unique to your space.
- We’ll take your comments, ideas, and inspiration and turn them into a beautiful custom design.
- The process is meant to be fun, creative, and collaborative.
- Your first 4 rounds of edits are included in the design fee.
If, after 4 rounds of revisions, we still haven’t landed on a final design, it usually means we’ve reached the limit of our original creative scope.
At that point, we’re happy to continue brainstorming and refining your sign at an additional design rate of $75 per hour.
Design Fees & Cancellations
While the $75 design deposit covers the start of your initial idea, additional design fees may apply for:
- Elaborate or highly detailed designs
- Multiple rounds of revisions beyond the included edits
- Complex proofs or layout changes
Important: The $75 deposit is non-refundable, but when you’re ready to complete your purchase, it will be deducted from your total bill!

Our Premium Archival Matte Paper is a smooth, neutral-white, matte paper for high-quality fine art, photo reproduction, and open-edition decor. Gently clean your artwork with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid using household chemical cleaners, as they can damage the artwork.
Do not expose canvas prints & acrylic prints to direct sunlight.
