A Vintage Santa Outdoors in the Snow
Finger to his lips, glasses low, the same conspiratorial look. But this version puts him outside, with frosted pines rising on both sides and pale winter light coming through them. The palette runs colder and lighter than the studio piece, more white and soft green than deep red.
Vintage Santa Canvas for a Cooler Room
Where the plain red version suits a warm traditional room, this one belongs in a lighter space. Painted panelling, a white hallway, a bright kitchen wall, a cabin landing. The snow does the work the red does elsewhere.

How is this different from the plain red hushing Santa?
The setting and the palette. Tailor Made Rooms painted two versions of the gesture. This one puts him outdoors among snowy pines in cool light, while the other is a close studio portrait on deep red.
Which of the two suits a lighter room?
This one. The whites, pale greens and snow keep it cool, so it sits better against painted panelling and light walls than the deep red version does.
What size should I order?
Tailor Made Rooms suggests a larger size above a mantel or console, and a smaller one for a hallway, a gallery wall or a shelf lean.
