A Cowboy Santa Out Ahead of the Weather
He is head on and mid stride, a canvas sack hauled over one shoulder and a rope at his belt, boots in the dry dirt of a wash. Behind him the sky has gone to towering grey and white where the storm is stacking up, and the light on him is the last clean light before it closes in. The palette is sand, bone and dust with the red coat carrying all the warmth in the painting.

Questions About This Western Santa Canvas
How is this different from the other walking canvas?
Weather. The other walking piece is set under a clear blue sky full of white cloud and reads calm and open. This one has a storm building behind him and a much warmer, drier palette, so it carries tension instead of quiet.
Does it need a big wall?
It rewards one. The sky is most of the painting, so the larger sizes do it more justice. Aim for roughly two thirds the width of whatever sits below it and center the art 57 to 60 inches from the floor.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
Black is the stronger choice here, because the painting is pale and the frame gives it a boundary. White works if the wall itself is dark. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
Can I hang it on a porch or outdoors?
No. Canvas is an indoor material. For a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included.
