This is the single letter design. One initial, one border, nothing else. If you want a multi-letter monogram with a family name and an established year beneath it, that is a different mat in this collection and it is built around a laurel wreath. This one is deliberately simpler, and it suits a rental, an apartment door, a guest cottage or anywhere a full name would be more than you want to announce.
