A Cowboy Santa Already On His Way
He is up in the saddle on a pale gold horse with a flaxen mane, coming straight at you with the sack riding behind his shoulder and the lead rope gathered in one gloved hand. Wide brim hat, red coat gone soft at the cuffs, boots in the stirrups. The ground is warm and dry and the sky behind him is washed out and pale, so it reads as open country rather than a snowbound postcard.

What is a cowboy Santa?
A cowboy Santa is Santa Claus reimagined in western dress, with a wide brim hat and a horse where the reindeer normally are. Tailor Made Rooms paints him as a working rider rather than a workshop figure, which is why this one is mounted and moving instead of standing beside a tree.
How is this different from the other western Santa canvas?
This is the riding piece. The other one is the quiet piece, where he has stopped and is resting his head against his horse. This one has a horse walking toward you and a sack already loaded, so it carries more movement and works better on a wall you approach head on.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
The black frame sharpens the warm golds and tans in this painting and suits wood, leather or a deep wall color. The white frame keeps it airy and suits a lighter room. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
What size should I order?
Measure the furniture it will hang above and aim for roughly two thirds of that width in artwork. Center it 57 to 60 inches from the floor and leave 6 to 10 inches between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame. Cut the size out of painters tape and stick it on the wall first, it costs nothing and it settles the question.
Can I hang it on a porch or outdoors?
No. Canvas is an indoor material and weather will ruin it. For a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included to protect the wall.
