A Cowboy Santa Who Stopped to Say Thank You
He has his hat pushed back, his eyes closed and his forehead resting against the horse's head. Both of them are still. His gloved hands are wrapped around the bridle, the white fur on his cuffs has gone a little rough from the weather, and there is snow behind them under a pale winter sky. It is painted loose and warm in an oil style, and nothing about it is posed.

Questions About This Western Santa Canvas
What makes this a western Santa rather than a regular one?
The hat and the horse. Tailor Made Rooms put him in a pale straw cowboy hat and a working bridle instead of the usual sleigh and reindeer, and painted him leaning on the animal that does the work. That is what gives the piece its western character.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
The black frame pulls out the dark bay of the horse and suits a room with wood, leather or deep paint. The white frame lifts the snow and the pale sky and suits a lighter room with white or greige walls. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
Where does it suit best?
Tailor Made Rooms designed it for the relaxed rooms. A den, a lodge, a bunk room, a tack room, a bar corner or a hallway, anywhere leather and wood already set the tone.
What size should I order?
Measure the furniture it will hang above and aim for roughly two thirds of that width in artwork. Center it 57 to 60 inches from the floor and leave 6 to 10 inches between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame. Cut the size out of painters tape and stick it on the wall first, it costs nothing and it settles the question.
Can I hang it on a porch or outdoors?
No. Canvas is an indoor material and weather will ruin it. For a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included to protect the wall.
