Description
Santa on Canvas: A Glowing Globe Held in Both Hands
Gallery wrapped canvas, printed in a warm oil painting style and ready to hang out of the box.
Whatever he is looking at in there, he likes it.
Light Coming Up From His Hands
He is bent over a glass globe cupped in both gloved palms, and it is lit from the inside. Gold light spills up across his beard and glasses and out into the dark around him, carrying flecks of falling snow with it. Everything outside that circle of light is left soft and unfinished, so the glow is the entire subject.
Christmas Wall Art That Works in a Dark Room
Most Christmas canvases need good light to look their best. This one was painted the other way round. The deep background and the single warm light source mean it holds up in a panelled study, a hallway without windows, or a room lit by lamps in the evening.
What Arrives
✔ Gallery wrapped canvas with the artwork carried around the edges, so no frame is needed
✔ Semi gloss print for added depth and color
✔ Mounting hardware attached, so it hangs straight out of the packaging
✔ Leveling bumpers included to protect the wall
✔ Beveled stretch bars and industrial strength staples, so the frame stays tight and sits flat
Questions About This Santa Canvas
How is this different from the snow globe painting?
Tailor Made Rooms painted two globe pieces. This is the warm gold one, with light and snow rising out of the glass and no scene inside it. The other is cool blue with a city under the dome.
Does it need good lighting to look right?
No, and that is unusual for this collection. The artwork carries its own light source, so it reads well in a dim hallway, a study or a lamplit room.
What size should I order?
Tailor Made Rooms suggests a larger size where the glow needs to carry across a room, and a smaller one for a bookshelf, a desk wall or a gallery arrangement.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included to protect the wall.
