Custom Santa Pet Portrait from Your Photo
Your dog, cat or kitten in Santa's arms, digitally designed from your own photo in our vintage oil painting style. Choose gallery wrapped canvas, canvas in a solid wood frame in black or white, or a fine art paper print shipped rolled.
You know the vintage Santas, the ones that look like they have hung over a fireplace since 1950. Now the pet in his arms can be yours.
A Santa and Pet Portrait Made from Your Pet, Not a Look-Alike
Our Santa Pet Portraits collection holds dozens of breeds, but your pet is not a breed. It is the one with the crooked ear, the gray muzzle and the look that says it knows exactly where the treats are. Upload a photo, tell us which Santa you love, and we digitally design your pet into that vintage scene, matched to the warm, old world style our Santa art is known for.
Because it is your actual pet, no two are alike. It is the gift the pet lover in your life never sees coming, and the one they bring back out every December.

How to Order Your Custom Santa Pet Portrait, Step by Step
Step 1: Pick Your Format, Size and Frame
Choose canvas or a paper print, then one of five square sizes from 10 by 10 inches up to 36 by 36 inches. Canvas comes unframed and ready to hang, or in a solid wood frame in black or white. Paper prints ship rolled and unframed.
Step 2: Upload Your Pet's Photo
Upload one clear photo of each pet, up to three pets in one portrait. Our photo tips below show you exactly what works best.
Step 3: Choose Your Santa
Pick your favorite from our 12 vintage Santas below, numbered Santa 01 through Santa 12, and choose that number in the Choose Your Santa menu when you order. Your pet takes the place of the pet shown. Can't decide? Choose "You Choose" and we will pick the Santa that suits your pet best.

Step 4: Place Your Order
Add it to your cart and check out. That is all you need to do for now.
Step 5: We Design Your Portrait
We digitally design your pet into the vintage Santa scene, matched to the warm, old world style our Santa art is known for.
Step 6: Approve Your Proof
We email you a digital proof of your portrait. Nothing prints until you approve it. Keep an eye on your spam folder in case it lands there.

Once you approve it, your portrait is printed to order and shipped. Canvas arrives ready to hang, and paper prints arrive rolled in a sturdy tube. Shipping is free to the USA and Canada.

How to Take the Perfect Photo
Your portrait is only as good as the photo we start with. A few seconds of setup makes all the difference.

✔ Get down to their level. Hold the phone at their eye height, or just above, with their eyes looking at the camera. That gaze is what gives the portrait its soul.
✔ Use daylight. Stand near a window or step outside. Natural light shows their true coat color. Skip the flash, which washes out fur and turns eyes glowy.
✔ Show the whole pet. Head to paws if you can. Santa is holding them, so we need to see their body and coat pattern, not just the face.
✔ Keep it sharp. No blur, no filters, no portrait mode effects. Send the original photo from your camera roll, not a screenshot or one saved from social media.
✔ One pet per photo. Doing two or three? Send a separate photo of each, and we will bring them together in the scene.
✔ No hats or costumes. Plain and simple works best, so we see the real pet.

Questions About Custom Santa Pet Portraits
Can you put more than one pet in the portrait?
Yes, up to three. Upload a clear photo of each pet.
Can you add my pet's name or a message?
No. These are portraits only, with no names or words added, so the artwork stands on its own like the vintage pieces it is modeled on.
Which Santa can I choose?
Any of our 12 numbered Santas, Santa 01 through Santa 12, shown in the photo above. Your pet takes the place of the pet in the painting. If you cannot decide, choose "You Choose" and we will pick the Santa that suits your pet best.
Do I get to see it before it prints?
Yes. We email you a digital proof, and nothing prints until you approve it. Keep an eye on your spam folder in case it lands there.
Can you make a portrait of a pet who has passed away?
Yes. Any clear photo works, even an older one. Many of these become a way to keep a beloved pet part of Christmas.
What is the difference between canvas and a paper print?
Canvas is printed on a textured canvas that is gallery wrapped, so it arrives ready to hang, with the option of a black or white wood frame. A paper print is printed on smooth fine art matte paper and ships rolled in a tube, so you can frame it however you like.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one on my canvas?
Black deepens the warm reds and browns of the vintage scene and suits wood, leather and darker walls. White keeps it lighter and works on a pale wall or a painted brick fireplace.
What size should I order?
Measure whatever it hangs above and aim for roughly two thirds of that width in artwork. Center it 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Cut the size out of painters tape and put it on the wall first, it costs nothing and it settles the question.
Can it go on a porch or outdoors?
No. Canvas and paper are indoor materials and weather will ruin them. For a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product.
