A Western Santa and the Horse That Got Him There
The crop is tight. He fills the left of the frame under a broad pale hat, glasses down, beard washing across the front of the red coat, and the horse's dark head comes in from the right with the bridle on and the forelock over its eye. One weathered glove is up against the animal's cheek. Everything else is thrown away into soft cold light, so the painting is nothing but the two of them and the trust between them.
The Wide Version of a Quiet Moment
We offer this scene two ways. The tall version gives you snow and sky around them. This is the wide one, cropped in close and built for a horizontal wall, which is what you want over a sofa, a long console, a headboard or a back bar. Pick this one if the wall is wider than it is tall, or if you want the faces big.

Questions About This Cowboy Santa Canvas
How is this different from the tall version?
Same moment, different frame. The tall one sets the pair in falling snow with sky above them and suits a narrow wall. This wide one crops in close so the two heads fill the canvas, and it belongs on a horizontal wall above furniture.
Is this a good gift for a horse person?
It is the most specific one here for that. Tailor Made Rooms designed the contact between them rather than the riding, so it reads to anyone who has stood with their face against a horse in the cold.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
Black carries the dark horse right to the edge of the frame. White holds the cold pale light around them and keeps it gallery like. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
Can I hang it on a porch, a barn or a tack room?
An insulated tack room is fine. An unheated barn or a porch is not, because canvas is an indoor material. For those, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included.
