Description
Nautical Christmas Decor: A Santa and Dolphin Canvas for the Water
Gallery wrapped canvas in six square sizes from 10x10 to 40x40 inches, printed in a painterly oil style and ready to hang out of the box.
Of all the Santas here, this is the only one who actually got in.
Santa Swimming Alongside a Dolphin
He is in the water up to his shoulders, hat still on and somehow still dry, beard floating, glasses beaded with spray, grinning like a man who has just been beaten in a race. Beside him a dolphin has surfaced nose to nose with him. Behind them both, turquoise shallows, a low green shoreline and a scatter of palms.
Nautical Christmas Decor With a Sense of Humor
This is the playful end of the collection, and it knows it. It suits a bunk room, a pool bath, a dock house or a kids hallway far better than a formal dining room, and it is the one that gets a reaction from people walking past it.
What Arrives
✔ Gallery wrapped canvas on a 0.75 inch beveled wood stretcher, with the artwork carried around the edges so no frame is needed
✔ Six square sizes: 10x10, 14x14, 16x16, 24x24, 36x36 and 40x40 inches
✔ Semi gloss print for added depth and color
✔ Mounting hardware attached, so it hangs straight out of the packaging
✔ Leveling bumpers included to protect the wall
✔ Beveled stretch bars and industrial strength staples, so the frame stays tight and sits flat
Questions About This Santa and Dolphin Canvas
What rooms does this nautical Christmas canvas suit?
Tailor Made Rooms designed this one for the relaxed rooms. A bunk room, a kids hallway, a pool bath, a dock house or a games room, anywhere a piece is allowed to be funny.
Is the dolphin part of the printed artwork?
Yes. The dolphin surfacing nose to nose with Santa is the centre of the painting, not an accessory, which is what makes this the nautical piece in the collection rather than another beach scene.
What size works in a bunk room or a hallway?
Tailor Made Rooms suggests 16x16 to 24x24 inches for a bunk room or hallway, and 36x36 inches or larger where it is meant to be the piece people notice first.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included to protect the wall.
Can this hang in a pool house or a bathroom?
No. Despite the subject, this is a canvas print and belongs indoors in a dry spot, away from steady moisture, splashing and direct sunlight.
